Hi guys of the extravagant, let
me show you the process of my brand new project "love & hate". my
main theme was the breathtaking peacock.
The amazing peacock has an
unbelievable true story behind this wonderful feathers. The peacock is a symbol
of immortality because the ancients believed that the peacock had flesh that
did not decay after death. As such, early Christian paintings and mosaics use
peacock imagery, and peacock feathers can be used during the Easter season as
church decorations. This symbol of immortality is also directly linked to
Christ. The peacock naturally replaces his feathers annually; as such, the
peacock is also a symbol of renewal. In ancient Greece, the peacock was the
patron bird of the Goddess Hera. According to myth, she placed 'eyes' on its
feathers, symbolizing all-seeing knowledge and the wisdom of the heavens.
So let the creativity beguines.....textiles pages from my sketchbook "inspired from the peacock" to create my own pattern.
That is only in the beginning, you have seen nothing,.. stay with me to watch the process for the final outcome..!
